We were fortunate enough to work with the talented Gold Coast Architect, John Lea in designing and building his website for Lea Design Studio in 2017. Read more about the process of creating a website and the value it can bring to your business in this brief Q&A with John Lea.
PDM: What did you want your website to reflect and how does this work in with your brand at Lea Design Studio?
JL: As a new website encompassing my varied work undertaken over a 30 year career in Architecture, I wanted my website to reflect a high quality timeless design aesthetic, and be easy to navigate.
PDM: Why do you feel having a stylish and well-designed website is important?
JL: My website is a reflection of the services I’m offering to all my Clients where stylish design is one of my main priorities.
PDM: What is your favourite feature on the website?
JL: The Home page which contains sufficient information for someone wanting a quick overview of my design style, who I am, and the services I offer.
PDM: What did you learn about creating a digital presence in the form of a website during this process?
JL: The immense amount of time required to collate the appropriate content. In my specific case, this is primarily due to the large portfolio of past work I wanted included on my site.
PDM: How did you find the process of working with the team at Polka Dot Marketing?
JL: Polka Dot did a great job of co-ordinating the entire process, and nothing was too much trouble. The layout and design elements of the website were very well resolved from the beginning and required minimal changes as the content was added.
PDM: What would you say to anyone looking to work with Polka Dot Marketing?
JL: I’d highly recommend the Polka Dot team, the girls are a delight to work with and the end result exceeded my expectations!
PDM: How can people view more of your work?
